Circular, silver with scrolled bar suspender. Obverse - Monarch's profile (GRVI), left side with his/her title round rim. Reverse - A crowned eagle. Round rim FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT. With clasp ROYAL AIR FORCE LEVIES, IRAQ. Ribbon - dark blue and maroon with white edges. Ribbon missing. The edge impressed 1905 CPL. KHOSHABA YOKHANA.

Peaked cap with blue-grey fabric crown, black mohair band and black, patent leather chin strap and peak, the latter bearing two rows of gold wire oak leaf embroidery. On the band the Air Officers' badge consisting of a gold wire wreath with crown and lion above, overlaid with a gilt metal eagle.

Cotton-covered, domed cork helmet with broad brim, pointed at the front and square at the back, having a domed ventilator button in the top. Brim bound in leather and leather chin strap. The interior fitted with a leather head band and adjustable silk lining. Large pugaree with RAF flash on the left.

Single-breasted, blue-grey, four button jacket - three visible uniform buttons, one flat button under waist belt - with roll step collar, flap and button, pleated breast pockets but none in skirt. Two small inset pockets let into the waist. Centre rear vent. Fabric belt with two prong gilt buckle. Rank lace on cuffs to the rank of Air Commodore. Medal ribbons for...Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal... Pilot's brevet in gold wire above left breast pocket.

Full and Mess Dress Cap of an Officer

Peaked cap with blue-grey Venetian cloth crown, black mohair band and black patent leather chin strap and peak. On the band the RAF officers' cap badge of a crown in gold and silver wire embroidery and coloured silks above a gilt metal eagle above two pairs of gold wire laurel leaves.

Blue-grey, serge folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by hooks at sides and fastening with two very small gilt metal buttons at front. On front, left side the Airmen's gilding metal cap badge. This example fitted with a green and black checked cap band.

Large scale model made for RAF recruiting TV advert. Made up of tools and equipment used by various RAF trades. The tailplane consists of computer keyboards, a computer mouse and a pocket calculator; the wings are made up of medical tools such as scalpels and syringes, plus paintbrushes and plubing parts, the foreplanes of screwdrivers and drill bits, the fuselage of screwdrivers and other tools.

Blue-grey fabric helmet with internal, padded leather telephone holders retained by press-studs. Three press-stud male elements on each side of face aperture to receive suspension system from oxygen mask. Microphone socket below left ear. Communications lead emerges from lower centre rear of helmet. Two light webbing goggle retaining straps with press-studs at rear. Usually worn inside a Flying Helmet Type 1A.

Short Sunderland, Tail Trolley

Wood and metal structure. Square, wooden main body with single axle - double rubber tyred wheels each side. Tapered wooden tow bar with silver painted steel shackle halfway and wooden cross piece at end for man-handling. Top consists of four angled wooden posts and rubber pads to fit under the rear keel of the Sunderland, each side pair adjustable by hand gearing. Painted dark brown overall.
