Large 14" faced wood cased clock ; RAF crest at centre of the clock face, which has inner ring numbered 13-24 and 1-12 and outer ring numbered in 5 second intervals to show the minute; faded coloured segments "facing inwards" divide the 1-12 hours ring. The clock case has three wall mounting brackets at the rear; the pendulum and weight are detached and stored inside the clock case, accessible by a hinged, latched flap at the rear.The glass covering the clock face hinges outward to permit the hands to be adjusted and is locked by a clip at the side. Sector paint faded and peeling.

Flying Helmet Type B

Dark brown leather helmet lined throughout in chamois, with a brown velvet brow band. Circular leather telephone holders with vertical zips, fitted internally with a rubber telephone cup. Inside the helmet, padded chamois ear cushions. On either side of the face aperture a pair of female press studs, facing inwards, intended for the attachment of the D Type oxygen mask. Leather chin strap with metal tip on right which engages with a quick release buckle on left. The rear of the helmet gussetted for several inches to allow adjustment and with a tightening strap running around the back. Short, buckled vertical strap in centre, lower rear for retaining goggles.

Blue-grey, soft fabric cap with the crown gathered into a band covered by a separate black mohair band bearing the RAF Airmen's cap badge in gilding metal. Plain black leather peak and chin strap. Repair (poorly) made to crown of cap above right side of peak; owner's name and service number written on inside of peak.
