Embroidered on a disc of white cotton and man-made fibre mixture fabric, an outer yellow ring and an inner red ring. Between the two in red GROUNDCREW at top, THERE'S ALWAYS BLOODY SOMETHING at bottom. In the centre a green and yellow bat with IX in red, the number overlaid with the front view of a Tornado aircraft in green and grey.
