Bronze sculpture mounted on pedastal. Figure of Mercury, messenger of the gods, with winged right ankle, holding a sword and looking down at his winged foot. Stands on circular base supported by four classical columns above square base bearing presentation inscription and inscribed silver wings recording individual awards.

As new example. Representation of a "Lewis" type machine gun. Dummy barrels with the upper having a beaded foresight. Spade grip at rear and pistol grip below. Quick release circular spare magazine (with spares fitted) housing with ring sight and mounting in front.

Woven into a horizontal oval patch of pale blue sateened cotton fabric, AIR DEFENCE CADET CORPS around the top edge and SQUADRON at the bottom all within a thin border. Machine stitched in the centre, a rectangular patch of paler blue fabric lettered C.R.A.F.A. above 157 B'HAM.
