Single-breasted, seven button, stand collar tunic with shoulder straps decorated with gold wire embroidered crowned eagles. Hooks let into waist to support sword belt. Gold rank lace in the rank of Marshal of the Royal Air Force on cuffs. Collar laced and embroidered with the entire collar encircled with gold oak leaf and acorn embroidery indicating officers of Air rank. Pilot's flying badge in gold wire embroidery on left breast.

A seven branch gold cross with forked ends, enamelled white, the upper branch mounted with a gold crown with integral ring and articulated ring suspender. In the centre of the cross a medallion within a blue ring lettered AUSPICIUM MELIORIS AEVI. Within the ring on one side St. George slaying the Dragon, on the other the Archangel St. Michael. Ribbon mid blue with red centre stripe. (see X007-8692).

Reverse - an Indian hill fort with entablature bearing INDIA between sprays of laurel and oak. Ribbon - green, dark blue, green. The edge impressed 515231. A.C.1. W.J.H. WRIGHT. R.A.F. With clasp NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1935.

Single-breasted, four button jacket with roll-step collar, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. Lower button shows below belt. Integral fabric belt with twin prong gilt buckle. Soiling and slight damage. Gold rank lace at cuffs to the rank of Lieutenant. Medal ribbons for Military OBE, 1914-15 Star, War Medal and Victory Medal Observer's badge above left breast pocket.

Ladder, Cockpit

Light alloy structure pilot access ladder for Lighting aircraft, fitted to port side when in use. Painted dark green overall with two small wheels at the base; 7 rungs plus top wire mesh tread plate . Ladder frame angles sharply in one third of way up so as to clear external aircraft missile load. Orange painted splayed sides to aid pilot's grip at top. Angled brace locks into fuselage at four points for security.

Circular, silver with straight bar suspender connected to the medal by a clasp of laurel leaves. Obverse - Britannia, seated, with shield, trident and a rising sun. Around the rim FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE and below the figure, FOR GALLANTRY. Reverse - crowned GRI with V below all within a ring made up of lions passant regardant. Ribbon - purple with central, narrow orange stripe mounted with a silver laurel branch. Edge engraved 368345 L.G. A.C. NORMAN. G. BREADON. R.A.F.

A four armed silver-gilt cross enamelled pale blue, the ends of the arms divided into three branches. The upper arm terminating in a gold crown with integral loop and articulated ring suspender. Centrally a gold medallion bearing the seated figure of Britannia within a crimson ring lettered FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE. Reverse plain gold, the medallion bearing GRI crowned. Ribbon - purple, formed in a bow.

RAF, Wading Dress, Ptn 1938

Rubberised fabric combination suit with belt and fitted with attachment points so that flotation aids can be clipped across chest and back. Rubber seals at wrists. The garment has a lace-up opening in the chest and to put it on the wearer has to climb into it. The foot part is made integral with the leg and covered over in use by 'brogues' - heavily reinforced leather ankle boots with protective toe caps and hob nails.

Electrical, Ground Servicing, 6 kW, Mk. III

Four wheeled rectangular box bodied electrical servicing trolley with pivotting towing/steering arm. Fitted with 10hp water cooled Ford petrol engine to power the generator. Hinged flaps at sides to allow access/cooling for the engine; small externally mounted, green painted fire extinguisher at rear and long flexible rubber coated power lead connecting rear of the trolley with the aircraft being serviced. Output dial on offside and radiator/fuel tank filler caps on top of body.
