Khaki waistcoat with quilted kapok filled sections in the front as well as the rear shoulders. Two buckled adjustment straps in the rear. Front fastening with a series of four tie tapes.

First World War steel Anti-Personnel Flechette. Streamlined pattern. Four tipped wing at the top of a thin cylindrical body turning into a bulbous tapered point. One riveted pair of tail fins slightly loose.

Sectioned high explosive bomb with central hollow rod and single centre suspension loop and four large braced tail fins. Painted buff overall with narrow red and green body bands; Has a tapered, solid point.

Black leather, lace-up shoe with four pairs of eyelets. Pain vamp. Counter lined in pale buff leather while the sock is in canvas. With leather sole nailed to the uppers and blocked heel both reinforced with nails. Left foot.

Norman Deflection Foresight 1915. Black metal carriage, supporting brass plate made from three sections, two semi circular and one rectangular with rounded ends. The rotating carriage is in four sections, and has a large spike protruding, with a red circular sighting ball on the tip. The base has a crew fitting.
Wing Spar

Split oblong section of ash aircraft wing spar embedded with enemy bullet and held together with string. Written in ink pen is "Strut of Aeroplane, hit by enemy's bullet, Pilot-Capt. L da C. Penn-Gaskell Royal Flying Corps GREAT WAR 1915. Four small holes for metal fittings can be seen in the centre, two either side.

Jacket with wide flap fastening with four gilding metal buttons down left side. Falling collar, plain cuffs, inset pockets with buttoned flaps in skirts. Fabric belt closing with a single uniform button in line with the fastening buttons. Internal collar in ribbed white cotton. Badges on both sleeves shoulder-title at top with eagle below, both white embroidery on black.

Dark blue, single-breasted, serge, four button jacket with turn-over collar and small lapels. Straight flapped, inset pockets in skirts, no vent at rear. Two small buttons, vertically, at each cuff. All buttons black horn with crowned fouled anchor. Red embroidered eagle badge on right upper arm. Red embroidered Leading Mechanic's Fouled Anchor badge on left upper arm.
