Depiction of the mythical winged horse Pegasus, being "tamed" by an aviator who grasps her mane. As Pegasus rises from a hemispherical base representing Earth, she is reached for by a human figure.

Main body has engraved shields front and back,the front one with the main presentation details, the rear one with a representation of a Boxkite type aircraft. Rectangle of PC 10 painted fabric with painting of naked child holding both thumbs up. A section of red, white and blue ribbon is shown covering the upper body and another section is situated behind the child to form a cross. Now framed, together with two wooden 'Fums Up!' nameboards, in one large gass-fronted wooden frame.

Brown, collarless, waist length cotton jacket fitted with heating elements in lining. Front closing with seven buttons. Electrical connectors at front of waist while a larger connector and cable is located on the left, the cable fitted with a leather eyelet to secure it to a button . Two connectors at the wrists for attaching to electrically heated gloves.

Dark blue, single-breasted, serge, four button jacket with turn-over collar and small lapels. Straight flapped, inset pockets in skirts, no vent at rear. Two small buttons, vertically, at each cuff. All buttons black horn with crowned fouled anchor. Red embroidered eagle badge on right upper arm. Red embroidered Leading Mechanic's Fouled Anchor badge on left upper arm.

Khaki, whipcord, low crowned folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by hooks at sides and fastening with two very small metal buttons at front. On front, left side the Officers' metal cap badge from which the attachment lugs have been removed. Signs of stitches on the cap by which it was attached.

Consists of two parallel brass bars along which slide two metal cross pieces connected by a brass bar with graduated scale. There is a triangular metal mounting plate, with screw holes, at either end. The vertical mounted spirit level at the rear end has had its glass broken. This type was one of the earliest bombsights of British design to be used during World War One; it was developed by Warrant Officer F W Scarff of the Royal Navy and adopted by the RNAS in 1915.
