Aircraft & Exhibits, Array, 69/I/1321
A rectangular wooden case which tapers towards the front. The top of the case has black holders for the photographic plates which fold away from the case, being closed by sliding latches. At one short side is a brass handle, at the other a leather carrying/gripping strap, with buckle for adjusting its length. The case is reinforced at the edges by brass strips, and there are nineteen associated rectangular black Mackenzie Wishart photographic plates, of two types. Brass fitting tube mounted on top. Khaki waistcoat with quilted kapok filled sections in the front as well as the rear shoulders. Two buckled adjustment straps in the rear. Front fastening with a series of four tie tapes.

Fragment of wood with letters in German "eitung abahn fe. ua." (Assumed name of railway) from the side of railway coach or wagon. The back has the incident written in ink. See Markings.

Rectangular rounded body with the front face having an (anti-clockwise) manually wound handle fitted in the centre. Four mounting holes and points fitted in the rear. Bakelite terminals screwed into either with carbon brushes at the ends.

Black leather, lace-up shoe with four pairs of eyelets. Pain vamp. Counter lined in pale buff leather while the sock is in canvas. With leather sole nailed to the uppers and blocked heel both reinforced with nails. Left foot.

Originally Original nacelle framework only; later fully restored and completed and incorporated into completely reconstructed FE.2b aircraft for display at RAFM Hendon. Firing pin in the machine gun mounted in the front gunners position (Lewis machine gun. The aircraft is suspended in H2 so is impossible to get to without height access equipment so is safe for now but if the aircraft is lowered care needs to be taken as it is a fully live weapon capable of firing ammunition. 204 Squadron, B-Flight, Tent Fragment

Large semi circular canvas tent or hangar fragment attached to a V-shaped frame by five nails. Canvas in two parts stitched together half way up. Upper half painted with picture of a bee viewed from above, black body and legs and white outline of wings. Lower half displays the word Flight in dark blue capital letters. Light blue highlights along the left hand and lower sides of the letters. Back ground of the canvas painted khaki. Now mounted in large glass-fronted wooden frame.

Cotton-covered, domed cork helmet with broad brim, pointed at the front and square at the back, having a domed ventilator button in the top. Leather chin strap. The interior lined in heat dissipating aluminium foil with a leather head band. Pugaree with RFC flash on the left.
