Double-breasted, eight button jacket with slash side pockets and slash breast pocket. Two short vents at rear. Roll-step collar. Gold rank lace to Flight Sub-Lieutenant on cuff surmounted by a gilt eagle. Moth damaged.

Aircraft & Exhibits, Array, 69/I/1321
A rectangular wooden case which tapers towards the front. The top of the case has black holders for the photographic plates which fold away from the case, being closed by sliding latches. At one short side is a brass handle, at the other a leather carrying/gripping strap, with buckle for adjusting its length. The case is reinforced at the edges by brass strips, and there are nineteen associated rectangular black Mackenzie Wishart photographic plates, of two types. Brass fitting tube mounted on top. Black leather, lace-up shoe with four pairs of eyelets. Pain vamp. Counter lined in pale buff leather while the sock is in canvas. With leather sole nailed to the uppers and blocked heel both reinforced with nails. Right foot pierced for display.

Khaki, serge, low crowned folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by hooks at sides and fastening with two very small gilding metal buttons at front. On front, left side the Other Ranks' gilding metal cap badge.

Control lever from German Airship SL11. Surface corrosion; bent and distorted at base due to fire/impact damage.Consists of main body, in two halves and rivetted together, with spring loaded release trigger mounted at top and pivoted screw thread fitting at base.

Jig, Propeller Laminating

Clamp for holding propellers during construction and glueing for laminating. Consists of very large, thick wooden base plate, supported on 17 transverse sections of angle iron, and above, 16 individual screw-down iron clamps to press down the propeller sections. Each with wooden chocks to support and fit around the prop.

Cotton-covered, domed cork helmet with broad brim, pointed at the front and square at the back, having a domed ventilator button in the top. Leather chin strap. The interior lined in heat dissipating aluminium foil with a leather head band. Pugaree with RFC flash on the left.
