220 hp eight cylinder water cooled aero engine as fitted to the S.E.5a and Sopwith Dolphin. Inspection in February 2001 revealed some missing or damaged parts.

A rectangular wooden case which tapers towards the front. The top of the case has black holders for the photographic plates which fold away from the case, being closed by sliding latches. At one short side is a brass handle, at the other a leather carrying/gripping strap, with buckle for adjusting its length. The case is reinforced at the edges by brass strips, and there are nineteen associated rectangular black Mackenzie Wishart photographic plates, of two types. Brass fitting tube mounted on top. Crossley 4x2 Light Tender

Standard RFC personnel carrier; capacity 11 seats. 4 cylinder petrol engine. Wood and metal body with canvas tilt. Rear mounted petrol tank and foot board. Forward tilting adjustable windscreen; acetylene headlamps, brass radiator with Crossley badge. Two spare wheels mounted together at front offside. Restored to full working order July 2014.

Dark blue serge pantaloons with button fly, two slit, horizontal side pockets, adjustment strap and buckle at rear and buttons for braces at front and rear. The waist edge, adjustment strap and leg hems bound in narrow brown cotton tape. The seat reinforced with a roughly circular double thickness of fabric. The lace holes at bottom of legs backed with thin leather for strength.
