Circular bronze medallion. Obverse - bust length left profile portrait of Lunardi with, round the edge, VINCENT LUNARDI FIRST AERIAL TRAVELLER IN ENGLAND. Reverse - a balloon with paddles at either side and a flag falling from it. Clouds at the base. Around the edge ET SE PROTINIES TOLLIT INASTRA VIA and in the exergue SEPTEMBRUS 15 MDCCLXXXIV

Georgian, Silver, Plain

Georgian sterling silver tankard with hinged lid and side decoration but no inscription. Well built with soldered plain handle and decorated flip piece on handle to open lid, which opens upwards on a single hinge. Decorated space for inscription, but never actually inscribed - this panel, and the heart at the base of the handle, may have been added later to the original plainer Georgian design.
