Yellow painted metal drum originally containing supplies as dropped to aircrew in dinghy. Two thin metal bands around the drum supporting a metal rod to attach to the aircraft's dropping gear; canvas valise at top end containing rope and wooden float.

On a patch of blue-grey Melton cut to shape, a winged wreath enclosing RAF in monogram with a crown above. Embroidered in gold wire with the crown detailed in colours. Fitted with a brooch pin on reverse.

General Service Combat Helmet Mark 6A

Black resin bonded nylon helmet shell with shock absorbing liner. Leather pads front and rear and a nylon mesh cradle in the crown. Three point chin strap with leather chin cup and a press studded quick release fastener.

Cross, Bead

Hand made bead cross on fabric backing; very small beads used (one or two now loose). Arms of almost equal length. Central square of different pattern to the arms of the cross. apparently a Pachisi Board - see unconfirmed and anecdotal section.
