Black crackle painted box with three dials (ALTITIUDE, GROUND SPEED IN KNOTS and -5 to +5 SWEEP TIMING), a five figure counter and a hinged panel containing a plastic disc on the face. A multi-pin plug and (DIAL LIGHTS) switch on the right. Three spare discs housed in a leather pouch fitted at the top.
