Rectangular wooden case with eight jack plug sockets marked, UNIT B TELEPHONE, MICROPHONE, + LT - HT+ TRANSMITTER and EARTH across the top. Three lower levels contain, 1st blanked off, 2nd with three large valves marked, POWER and CONTROL with the 3rd containing two slow motion dials with a two-way switch marked, RANGE 1/RANGE 2/. The wooden case is covered in green painted fabric and fitted with suspension lugs on either side.

Khaki coloured waistcoat with stole designed to take a set of three kapok pads and an inflatable rubber bladder extending from left breast behind head and onto right breast (pads and bladder not fitted). Flap for oral inflation tube emerging from left breast and tucked into a retaining tube on left shoulder (tube not fitted). The waistcoat fastens with three buttons (missing) and two buckled straps.

Rectangular leather case, black, with wooden sides, slightly wider at top and tapering to base, and short leather handle, and flap lid closed at front by two press-studs. There is an RNAS emblem positioned above the middle of the three fasteners. Contains three rectangular acetate map holders with top suspension loops, two more previously displayed with it, and with a further four rectangular acetate map holders in a disintegrated state stored separately.
