Shield-shaped varnished wooden wall plaque with painted crest consisting of a red and white striped background on top of which are motifs of the green and yellow apprentice hatband, 4-bladed propeller, a hand holding lightning bolts, and the RAF eagle above the number 222. The motto scroll below says "2 learn 2 live 2 earn" and one above "May 1971 Royal Air Force Cosford April 1973".
