Rectangular dark grey painted fabric covered wooden box with two vents, aerial terminal, two 6 volt +/- terminals fitted to front. Hinged side compartment reveals two valves (one missing), wire bound aerial inductance, two accumulators and a written wiring diagram.

Black crackle painted rectangular body with a central rectangular glass plate and two internal reels. The outside has two electrical plug fittings (12v/24v), two lamps and rubber bumpers (degraded). Three spring loaded locating hooks fitted either end. Contains two spools.

Black leather skull cap trimmed with - 'seal dyed nutria' - black fur so as to leave a circular leather patch in front and two small triangular patches at rear. Front patch decorated with a badge of a flying eagle in silver superimposed on a gold ring lettered PER ARDUA AD ASTRA with crown above, mounted in front of a plume socket which is holding a B/G ostrich feather plume. At the front, attached to the fur and reaching round to the centre of both sides is a gold coloured plaited chain.

Very long four wheeled bomb trailer specifically for carrying the 22,000lb 'Grand Slam' bomb. Painted dark green overall. Heavy steel channel framed chassis and front towbar and pivotting front axle; steerable rear axle with horizontal steering wheel mounted low down and rear treadplate for the operator. Rear mounted, red painted towing hook. Four corner mounted screw jacks; lidded tool box at front.Four channelled side frames and four winches to permit the bomb, supported on two trestles, to be winched up into the aircraft bomb bay. Rear nearside mounted handbrake.
