A large rectangular grey painted metal case containing three separate components comprising, a rectangular INDICATOR UNIT with three rotating knobs, shielded glass valve, two multi-pin plugs, on/off switch and two screw adjusters fitted in the face. Two JUNCTION BOXES with multiple connections front and rear including aerial connectors and inter-cabling.

Large rectangular black painted body made up of ten separate units. The face fitted with a rectangular orange tinted gridded screen with two manually positioned cursors above and below. Two large handles, three adjusting wheels and numerous switches/knobs fitted in the face. Two multi-pin plugs in the rear.

Single-breasted, four button jacket with roll-step collar, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. Lower button shows below belt. Integral fabric belt with two prong gilt buckle. Single gold rank lace at cuffs. Slight moth damage.
Two copies of articles by Maj James Lucas Broome Hope Cordes and Mr Edward Rugg titled "Aeroplanes by the thousand" and "The bombers compared" which were to be published in "The Evening News" in 1940, with two accompanying letters from Mr Rugg to Maj Cordes, 4 January 1940 and 6 January 1940, and one letter from Maj Cordes to Handley Page, 5 January 1940

Two separate sketches. 1) King Alfred depicted rowing a canoe which bears the name "Dred Nort", an English flag flies from a corner of his crown. 2) Shows two men feeding babies bottles of "Liquid Gas", the top picture has the following verse "Two little shipping lines required a lot of nursing. One was fed with poison gas, McCauselands died of Mersing".

Privately tailored example of issue jacket. Single-breasted, five button, khaki jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, Two flap and button breast patch pockets, two flap and button skirt patch pockets and tapered soft shoulder straps. Fitted with 2nd Lieutenant's bar on the shoulder straps and winged balloon badge above left breast pocket. US and Signal Corps branch collar badges. Two service chevrons above left cuff. All buttons of subdued rimmed Eagle and National Seal type.

Aircrew Helmet Mark 1

Moulded shell made from bonded, laminated nylon fabric, lined throughout in leather and with a leather-covered brow cushion across the front. The edge of the casing trimmed with black moulded rubber binding. The interior fitted with a light, man-made fibre webbing harness to hold the shell off the head. Harness attached to the shell by white metal tabs riveted through. The helmet is worn over a Type F blue cotton flying helmet.The exterior of the helmet fitted with two male press-studs on the lower rear sides to retain straps for a detachable visor. Adjustable light webbing chin strap fitted on press-studs (missing). The shell painted silver overall.
