Black anodised pressed steel eye piece with two small glass lenses and folding legs either side. These fit into a separate black painted base plate, with notches on the legs permitting height adjustment. Cased.

"D" shaped aluminium Italian 1930s model mess tin with strap bracket and bail handle removed. Consealling a radio fitted inside using German, American and other components. Steel wire handle with lid engraved "CARRARA" scored out.
