Women's Junior Air Corps Field Service Cap

Grey, wool folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by stitches at the sides. The front decorated with two small silver metal buttons bearing WJAC. On front, left side the Women's Junior Air Corps triangular chrome metal cap badge.

Cotton-covered, domed cork helmet with broad brim, pointed at the front and square at the back, having a domed ventilator button in the top. Leather chin strap. The interior lined in heat dissipating aluminium foil with a leather head band. Pugaree with RFC flash on the left.

Rectangular wood and bakelite sealed box with hinged side compartment having key and battery terminals. A spiral inductor is mounted on the face with earth, spark gap adjuster, and aerial clip terminals and two moveable clips. A window on one side allows viewing of the spark gap with aerial tuner knob.

Gusseted webbing and leather bag with double buckled flap and leather adjustable shoulder strap. Issued for use with the Lewis and Hotchkiss Machine Guns?. On the inside back of the bag are 3 pockets for (from left to right) oilcan, cleaning materials and tin box containing small spare parts.

Large rectangular multi-terrain pattern fabric rucksack with plastic buckle fastening for lid, padded shoulder straps, molle tabs on the front, draw string fastening for inner neck, two carry handles (one on the front & back), zipped pocket on the lid and foam padded back with airflow spacer fabric.

Khaki peaked cap with soft crown gathered into a band. Fabric front peak reinforced by multiple rows of stitching, and plain, rear peak, latter turned up. Adjustable, fabric chin strap secured with tiny General Service Pattern buttons at each end, turned up over peak.

Upper portion of solid steel ship's bulkhead. Line of rivet holes around the edge; two reinforcing ridges at rear; curved cut-out at base- for propeller shaft to pass through. Front painted face has wording ...gegen Engeland with Kriegsmarine flag and silhouettes of Battleship and U-Boat on green background.
Mk XIV Bombsight, Sighting Head and Control Panel

Black crackle painted cylinder shaped gyro unit bolted in an anti-vibration frame and fitted with an optical sighting head. All mounted onto a large base fitted with electrical lead with socket and adjustable (airframe) bracket. Complete with switch box.
MKVA Pressure Head

Metal pressure head attached to cut-off section of aircraft wing strut. Fully restored for display. Black painted main body with split bracket mounts for attachment to the strut, and two aluminium venturi, one angled, mounted to the front, with lower sections running down parallel with the front of the strut.
