Type E Bomb Trolley

Specialist heavy bomb trailer, painted overall dark green. Chassis consists of two long strong steel frame sections. Long, heavy front tow bar, pivoting front axle and steerable rear axle with horizontal steering wheel and rear tread plate for operator, and rear towing hook also. Tool box with lid behind front axle. Four screw jacks, two each side, fore and aft.

Rectangle of PC 10 painted fabric with painting of naked child holding both thumbs up. A section of red, white and blue ribbon is shown covering the upper body and another section is situated behind the child to form a cross. Now framed, together with two wooden 'Fums Up!' nameboards, in one large gass-fronted wooden frame.

Women's Royal Air Force Service Dress Cap

Blue-grey, soft fabric cap with circular stitch detail in the crown and a separate black mohair band bearing Officer's badge consisting of a crown in gold and silver wire above a gilt metal eagle above two pairs of gold wire laurel leaves, all on a black Melton patch. Fabric peak and a patent leather chin strap.

Service Dress Cap of a Field Officer

Peaked cap with khaki crown, black mohair band and black patent leather chin strap and peak. The peak decorated with one row of gold oak leaf embroidery. On the band the RAF officers' cap badge of a crown in gold and silver wire embroidery and coloured silks above a gilt metal eagle above two pairs of gold wire laurel leaves.

Brown, collarless, waist length cotton jacket fitted with heating elements in lining. Front closing with seven buttons. Electrical connectors at front of waist while a larger connector and cable is located on the left, the cable fitted with a leather eyelet to secure it to a button . Two connectors at the wrists for attaching to electrically heated gloves.

Dark blue, single-breasted, serge, four button jacket with turn-over collar and small lapels. Straight flapped, inset pockets in skirts, no vent at rear. Two small buttons, vertically, at each cuff. All buttons black horn with crowned fouled anchor. Red embroidered eagle badge on right upper arm. Red embroidered Leading Mechanic's Fouled Anchor badge on left upper arm.

Left hand drive light truck with open wooden rear body and partially enclosed cab with bench seat and no tops to the doors; nearside mounted spare wheel and pronounced mudguards each side linked by running boards; twin front headlamps and cab mounted oxy-acetylene lamps. In full running order following restoration by RAFM Friends team 2011-2012.

Single-breasted, V necked, four button jacket with two patch and flap buttoned pockets below the waist, fall step collar capable of being buttoned across with a small composition or horn button, false cuffs indicated by stitching and a loose belt fastening with two buttons in front. All buttons RAF gilding metal with eagle and crown. Lined throughout in off-white cotton.

Within a voided, vertical, oval wreath of laurel, with roses at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, WL at 12 o'clock and a scroll at base reading ORA ET LABORA, a draped female figure of Victory with a laurel wreath in her right hand. Horizontal pin fastening at rear. Also used as a brooch on WAAC clothing by former members of WL.

Fleece-lined, brown leather short jacket with full length zip closure and zips running up front of fore-arms. Around the bottom front, a leather half belt emerging from the side seams, fitted with a white metal buckle. On the underside of the collar a fastening loop and a strap to hold the collar up when worn in that position.
