Framed plywood panel painted dark green on the face with a black painted wooden German cross screwed over a Balkenkreuz black and white painted cross. "239" (B-S) SQUADRON RECORD of VICTORIES in white lettering with the recorded the Squadron victories for the period 2 January-14 April 1945 painted on the black cross. A "key" DESTROYED and DAMAGED painted in the bottom right corner. Slight paint reaction in top right corner.

Large circular, bronze plaque bearing a figure of Victory with a trident in her right hand and extending a laurel wreath with her left above an entablature bearing WILLIAM THOMAS JAMES McCUDDEN in relief letters. Standing beside her a lion. At base a lion fighting an eagle. Round the rim HE DIED FOR FREEDOM AND HONOVR with two dolphins and a spray of oak leaves. Designed by Mr (later Sir) Edward Carter Preston.

Woven as a disk of man-made fibre fabric in dark blue, light blue, black, grey,yellow, red and white. Within a border lettered UNITED KINGDOM SPACE OPERATIONS CENTRE, a globe in light blue and dark blue in which the UK is picked out in red, with red and white stripes going across the globe to produce a representation of the Union flag. Two yellow stars are placed in each quadrant around the circumference.
'Figaro' Emblem of Ian Gleed

Starboard cockpit door panel from Hawker Hurricane. Decorated with the "Figaro" kitten personal emblem of Wing Commander Ian Richard Gleed. The hand painted black and white kitten is portrayed swatting a fractured swastika with its bloodied paw. The door is complete with all original features including cockpit canopy rail and interior instrument pouches and release catch. There is evidence of a lighter rectangular patch where an internal fitting has been removed.
Desert DPM Combat Hat

Light-weight cotton round hat in Disruptive Pattern Material in shades of sand and deep buff with a brim. Four ventilators mounted in the crown and the base of the crown fitted with a strip of fabric sewn down at intervals to form a series of loops. Two pierced tabs sewn under the brim to provide the anchoring points of a chin tape. Neck flap attached to rear of hat by velcro.
Folding Chair from RAF Stanley (Falklands) Chapel

Varnished natural wood slatted wooden folding chair; seat made from square frame with nine wooden slats secured with two metal screws. Front legs extend at an angle to form the back of the chair. A metal rod joins these to the seat.Back legs join the front legs half way up the back of the chair with the seat joining the back legs by way of a slot allowing the chair to be folded.
