Woven into a horizontal oval patch of pale blue sateened cotton fabric, AIR DEFENCE CADET CORPS around the top edge and SQUADRON at the bottom all within a thin border. Machine stitched in the centre, a rectangular patch of paler blue fabric lettered C.R.A.F.A. above 157 B'HAM.

Norman Deflection Foresight 1915. Black metal carriage, supporting brass plate made from three sections, two semi circular and one rectangular with rounded ends. The rotating carriage is in four sections, and has a large spike protruding, with a red circular sighting ball on the tip. The base has a crew fitting.

Two wheeled trailer with pneumatic tyres, with axle below the semi circular oil tank which forms the main body of the trailer. Coiled hose and manual hand pump at front. Painted blue-grey overall; tubular manual/vehicle crosspiece towing handle at front.
