Full Dress Helmet of an Officer

Black leather skull cap trimmed with - 'seal dyed nutria' - black fur so as to leave a circular leather patch in front and two small triangular patches at rear. Front patch decorated with a badge of a flying eagle in silver superimposed on a gold ring lettered PER ARDUA AD ASTRA with crown above, mounted in front of a plume socket which is holding a B/G ostrich feather plume. At the front, attached to the fur and reaching round to the centre of both sides is a gold coloured plaited chain.

A rectangular wooden case which tapers towards the front. The top of the case has black holders for the photographic plates which fold away from the case, being closed by sliding latches. At one short side is a brass handle, at the other a leather carrying/gripping strap, with buckle for adjusting its length. The case is reinforced at the edges by brass strips, and there are nineteen associated rectangular black Mackenzie Wishart photographic plates, of two types. Brass fitting tube mounted on top. Circular, silver with integral top loop with loop suspender. Obverse - the left profile head of Tsar Nicholas II with an inscription. Reverse - an inscription in Cyrillic with a stamped number 702005. Ribbon - three black stripes and two orange stripes with narrow orange edges.

Officer’s Cuff Eagle Badge 1918 Pattern

Combination badge made up of small gilt brass eagle with outstretched wings and head extended to viewer's left and a small crown. Threaded posts on rear of each element. With brass backing plate and threaded, notched discs for fastening.

591 Signals Unit, Ptn 1980s

On a disc of khaki man-made fabric hem stitched round the edge in black thread and within a bright green ring bearing 591 S.U. ROYAL AIR FORCE, a Cookaburra sitting on a branch with a lightning flash across the disc. Design ain black and orange.

Full-sized inert drill round MBDA Brimstone supersonic 'Fire and Forget' anti-armour missile, which in service consists of a smart launcher and three missiles, carried on a pylon. Cylindrical dark grey alloy body with four tail fins and three top mounting brackets. Painted overall black; clear-panel nose cone.
