Large, rectangular matt black painted body with front panel fitted with, five "press buttons" under red and black painted spring loaded flaps marked, JETTINSON SAFE (ALL), CONTROL TEST, JETTISON LIVE (ALL), JETTISON SAFE (SELECTED ONLY) and BOMB CIRCUIT TEST. A panel with 24 small windows fitted in centre with two other control panels fitted bottom, one marked, SPACING, YARDS, KNOTS and SECONDS. Three large and one small multi-pin plugs fitted in the base and four mounting points on rear. Rear panel dented with slight damage to one button flap.

Sopwith F.1 Camel, serial B6433, "Australia No.14, New South Wales No.13, The Tweed Armidale", starboard side view, crashed, 6 Training Squadron, AFC, Ternhill, 27 January 1918.
