Words, THE LONDON AERODROME HENDON below and engraved PRESENTED TO R.H. CARR NOV 5th 1913 SECOND. Shield at bottom right with County of Middlesex arms. Reverse - engraved IN COMMEMORATION OF THE FIRST NIGHT FLYING RACE within laurel wreath. Cased.

Pale blue-grey silk standard with appiqued, the arms of the City of London with above an embroidered gold eagle, and below a blue scroll bearing 'City of London Bomber Squadron' in gold. The same on both sides. The edge is trimmed with mixed gold and pale blue-grey fringe. A cord of the same is provided for the pole ( and packed separately) . The whole standard is netted.
