Privately tailored example of issue jacket. Single-breasted, five button, khaki jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, Two flap and button breast patch pockets, two flap and button skirt patch pockets and tapered soft shoulder straps. Fitted with 2nd Lieutenant's bar on the shoulder straps and winged balloon badge above left breast pocket. US and Signal Corps branch collar badges. Two service chevrons above left cuff. All buttons of subdued rimmed Eagle and National Seal type.

Two separate sketches. 1) King Alfred depicted rowing a canoe which bears the name "Dred Nort", an English flag flies from a corner of his crown. 2) Shows two men feeding babies bottles of "Liquid Gas", the top picture has the following verse "Two little shipping lines required a lot of nursing. One was fed with poison gas, McCauselands died of Mersing".
