Single-breasted, five button, khaki jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, Two flap and button breast patch pockets, two flap and button skirt patch pockets and tapered soft shoulder straps. Fitted with 2nd Lieutenant's bar on the shoulder straps and winged balloon badge above left breast pocket. US and Signal Corps branch collar badges. Two service chevrons above left cuff. All buttons of subdued rimmed Eagle and National Seal type.

One was fed with poison gas, McCauselands died of Mersing".
