Khaki, flap-over jacket fastening with five buttons concealed in a fly down the right side. The top edge of the flap fastens on the top of the shoulder with a press studs. Rise and fall collar bearing bronze RFC badges, the interior of the collar fitted with a false khaki shirt collar retained by 'plastic' buttons. Shoulder straps fastening with press-studs bear Captain's rank insignia in the form of three embroidered pips. False pointed cuffs. Horizontal flapped pockets in skirts. Centre rear vent. RFC pilot's badge on left breast. Wound stripe above left cuff. Lined throughout in khaki cotton fabric.

Circular faced aircraft instrument reading from 0 to 10,000 feet with 1,000 foot intervals. Six screw holes spaced evenly around the face to attach the altimeter to the instrument panel. Small adjusting wheel fitted to the bottom along with the attachment for the static tube which is protected by a green plastic cover.
