Unlacquered, assymetrical, pear-shaped white alloy frames holding yellow tinted Triplex windows. Frames stamped REG. NO. 667504. Spring loaded surrounds covered with fine brown silk and edged with brown chenille fitted with leather tabs connected to a black elastic adjustable head band. Leather tabs marked in gold TRIPLEX with three Xs within a circle and REGISTERED TRADE MARK. CONDITION - head band perished, centre joint between the frames broken and the two elements held together by threads only. Not displayable on a figure.
