Soft, brown leather trousers with wool lining. Front cut-away from sides to crotch and are held up by an integral half belt with single pinned buckle. Slit openings in the lower legs are closed via a series of three press studs.

Straight bladed sword with scabbard. Sword - the steel, spear point blade etched with panels of foliate and rope work decoration, Royal Arms, crown and eagle above R.N.A.S. on a grey ground. Manufacturer's details and proof mark at forte. The guard in gilded yellow metal, formed as a three bar guard but with the interstices filled with textured panels not pierced, and incorporating a vertical oval medallion of an eagle and crown. The thumb guard hinged and pierced to engage with a pin on the rear side of the scabbard chape. With a slot for a sword knot and two holes in line with the blade on the top of the knuckle bow. Lion's head pommel with integral back strap and white "shark skin" grip bound in gilded brass wire. Sword knot - none fitted. Scabbard - black leather with gilded yellow metal drag, locket and chape, the latter bearing a small pin to engage with the hole in the folding thumb guard. The Chape and locket bearing suspension rings. The mounts decorated with line engraving. Leather on scabbard in poor condition.
