Brown leather oval mask including nose cover retaining pear-shaped, assymetrical, black lacquered, yellow alloy frames with window removal screws at sides. The frames are attached directly into the mask with no significant fabric surrounds. Fitted with pale yellow tinted windows, hinged on centre line. Gold Triplex Safety Glass logo stamps on both ends of the leather mask. Lining cream-coloured leather with no trace of fur - almost certainly a fur lining from which the fur has been removed by moth damage - the edges of the frames covered in chenille padding. Brown, adjustable elastic head strap. The left window cracked. Both frames with mild verdigris. CONDITION POOR - the leather dry, the head band perished, hinge between frames very stiff.
