Portable, grey fabric covered box with hinged top portion containing trembler adjuster and spark gauge/cleaner. Top portion closes to connect to the main unit below via a circular brass key. Right side conceals a morse key with a flap at front revealing internal mechanism.

Khaki, corded fabric, high-waisted pantaloons. The waist cut as a broad band fastening with three buttons and incorporating a slit pocket on both front portions (no side pockets). The front of the garment cut as a flap which fastens to the waistband with four buttons in a horizontal line. Waistband provided with buttons for the attachment of braces. The legs shaped over the thighs, tight to the knee and over the calves and fastening on the lower calf with two buttons. All buttons pierced white metal type.

Brown leather oval mask including nose cover retaining pear-shaped, assymetrical yellow alloy frames, on spring loaded, fabric-covered sides with pale yellow tinted windows, hinged on centre line. Gold Triplex Safety Glass logo stamps on both ends of the leather mask. Lining cream-coloured leather with slight trace of grey fur - almost certainly a fur lining from which the fur has been rubbed - the edges of the frames covered in chenille padding. Brown, adjustable elastic head strap. The right window cracked, the left frame dented and window shattered with a section missing in lower area. The frame hinge broken. Both frames with mild verdigris. CONDITION POOR - the leather dry, the head band perished. NOT DISPLAYABLE ON A FIGURE.

Standard circular black face numbered 1-12 with top mounted winder and chain attachment link. Metal hour/minute hands with separate seconds dial (missing hand). Hinged rear dust cover and clear glass front (missing) with rear cover.

A wooden case tapering in width to one end. This end is open, with the covered lens cap clearly visible just inside the opening. At the other end, the rim of the box is surrounded by brass straps which also reinforce the sides and corners of the case. A leather buckled strap/handle is attached by brass fixings to both sides of the case. Just above, on the same side a brass rotary switch alters the focus of the camera (?). A number of other brass fixings are also attached to the outside of the case. Access at the rear for 5x4 inch Mackenzie-Wishart slide and envelope.

7" flat, white circular dial made from an early acetate form of plastic, with a compass face printed on it. Overlain is a slightly smaller, gridded transparent plastic circle, (now warped) which can be turned through 360 degrees. On top are two hands, one in white metal, one yellow, marked in increments of ten. They are connected to the dial by a brass fixing and have a marker which moves up and down the length of each hand. Showing signs of decay/yellowing.

Wooden aircraft interplane strut, tapered at both ends, with three vertical green lines of fabric tape at equal distances along its length. There are three faded and now virtually illegible rectangular paper labels on one side.
