Khaki, flap-over jacket fastening with five buttons concealed in a fly down the right side. The top edge of the flap fastens on the top of the shoulder with two press-studs and the shoulder strap fastens over this engaging with a female stud superimposed above the flap stud. Rise and fall collar bearing bronze RFC badges, the interior of the collar fitted with a false khaki shirt collar retained by 'plastic' buttons. Shoulder straps fastening with press-studs bear Captain's insignia - three embroidered pips. Plain cuffs. Horizontal flapped pockets in skirts. Centre rear vent. RFC pilot's badge on left breast. Lined throughout in khaki cotton fabric.

Large circular brass body with a rotating dial marked 0-10000 FEET in black lettering on silver background with single indicator hand. Fitted with an oversized thick leather wrist strap with buckle. Face slightly damaged.

Khaki serge jacket with lapel extending fully to right shoulder and fastening with concealed horn buttons; shoulder straps and horizontal, inset pockets with flaps all fastened with visible, small horn buttons. No tabs on cuffs. The fall part of the collar closes edge to edge with hooks and eyes. The sleeves, chest and shoulders lined, but the lower part unlined. Short vent at centre rear. With shoulder-titles - ROYAL FLYING CORPS - embroidered off-white on black. Two blue service chevrons above right cuff.
