Single-breasted, khaki jacket with roll-step collar and lapels, four flap and button pockets, the breast pockets pleated, the skirt pockets of bellows type. The waist fitted with brass hooks for wear with a Sam Browne. Small pocket let into the waist. Shoulder straps removed. Bronze RAF rope edged buttons throughout. Centre rear vent. The cuffs bearing cuff patches from which all decoration has been removed. RFC pilot's flying badge above left breast pocket and RAF eagle and crown badges on both upper sleeves indicating the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 or Sergeant Major.
