Red Beard Nuclear Weapon

Red Beard was the first British tactical nuclear weapon. Introduced in the early 1960s, it was replaced by WE177 in the early 1970s.

Red Beard was carried by RAF Canberras and V-bombers, as well as a number of aircraft in the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm.
