4000lb High Capacity (HC) Bomb, Mk 4

The High Capacity series of bombs ranged in weight from 2,000lbs to 12,000lbs.

They contained a large weight of explosives in a relatively thin casing to maximise blast damage, making them effective at demolishing factories and residential buildings.
