Radiac Survey Meter No. 2

Type as would have been used by Royal Observer Corp (ROC) for monitoring radiation levels in the event of a nuclear attack on the UK.

Grey painted rectangular upright instrument with a meter and handle fitted in the face and on/off switch one side. Complete with a dark green plastic case with 'lift the dot' fasteners on lid. Lid has a clear glass panel and shoulder strap stored inside.
