Pilot's flying log book of 2nd Lieutenant Samuel Leslie George Beaufoy, 6 December 1917-9 December 1918
Flying log book covering the flying training of 2nd Lieutenant of Samuel Beaufoy.
Beaufoy was posted to France to join No.79 Squadron in September 1918, however, his operational flights in the Sopwith Dolphin are not recorded, as a note in the back of the log book states that the log book in which these flights were recorded was destroyed when his hut burnt down. Post-war Beaufoy established a career as a town planner.
