Film taken from cameras mounted on the underside of a Hawk training aircraft and facing in different directions shows separate views of the launch of an AIM9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile.

Footage taken through cameras mounted on the underside of a Hawk training aircraft in flight shows an AIM9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile as the missile is launched. A second Hawk can be seen nearby. Separate sequences show the Sidewinder’s tail and nose on launch, and a view of the launch from a camera mounted under the Hawk’s nose and facing forwards. A view through the aircraft’s head-up display is also seen.
