Strip map from a collage of joined fragments of standard GSGS maps which formed a continuous aerial route map. This strip shows the route from Sharjah to Masirah off the coast of Oman. In 1932 Imperial Airways established a regular air service which included overnight stops at Sharjah which is now an Emirate of the United Arab Emirates, and the airfield later became RAF Sharjah.
