As well as information on Sunday 17 September’s church service, parade and march past the programme includes details on an annual tattoo and fireworks display presented by the Combined Birmingham Branches 6–7 September, the Battle of Britain, history of Birmingham, stories, pictures and advertisements Midland ‘A’ Region was created in 1949 as part of No. 4 Midland Area which became operative in October 1948. The five Birmingham branches of ‘A’ Region were Birmingham (Central), Yardley, Moseley and District, Harborne and King’s Norton
