Squadron Leader Sharp describes the flight from England to Berlin, made in very good weather. He states that the searchlights, anti-aircraft barrage and fires of Berlin could be seen from some distance away, explains why he chose to descend to very low altitude after bombing and comments on anti-aircraft fire noticed while passing Wilhelmshaven on the return journey.
