1941 BBC recording, in which a trainee pilot describes his first aerobatic manoeuvre in a Tiger Moth aircraft.
This recording is believed to have been made by one of two brothers, either Richard or Anthony Baerlein. It was for broadcast on BBC radio, and in it the speaker describes aspects of his early flying training and the experience of flying an aerobatic manoeuvre – a loop - in an aeroplane for the first time.
