Flying Officer Annandale - Attack on Rotterdam
Recording in which Flying Officer Annandale describes a low-level raid on the docks in Rotterdam.
Flying Officer Annandale, a navigator, describes the flight from England and at low level across Holland, escorted by Spitfires. He then gives an account of the attack itself, during which he and his crew succeeded in hitting a ship and were themselves hit by anti-aircraft fire. He concludes by briefly mentioning the flight back and by reading extracts from his log, made during the raid.
