Squadron Leader H. Price - Bombing Berlin
Recording in which Squadron Leader Price, a Wellington pilot, gives an account of a night raid on Berlin.
Squadron Leader Price describes aspects of a raid on Berlin, including an incident in which another bomber, at low level and caught in searchlights, was attacked by a fighter, which was shot down. He recalls how Berlin looked from the air, illuminated by fires and moonlight, and gives an account of the return flight, during which engine failure resulted in a forced landing in a field near his home aerodrome.
