Flying Officer Tarrant explains how he was flying his Hudson very low along a Norwegian fjord at night, looking for German ships, when the aircraft hit a rock. The aircraft was damaged and his crew were unable to jettison the bombs onboard. Despite this, he was able to fly back to the UK and make a landing on an RAF airfield.
