Flying Officer Coker explains how he ditched his Hudson in the sea near a Portuguese ship and the transfer of his crew to a dinghy. He recalls another Hudson overhead, how they were picked up by the Portuguese ship, treatment for his head injury and the hospitality of the Portuguese crew. He describes the approach of British destroyers and the transfer of his crew to one of these ships.
