Flight Lieutenant Kuttelwascher - Czech intruder
Recording in which two Czech brothers give an account of their journey from Czechoslovakia to England, where they joined the RAF; they then discuss their experiences of aerial combat.
Jan Kuttelwascher briefly outlines his brother Karel’s flying career, and in conversation the two brothers explain how they escaped from Cechoslovakia to Poland, France and the UK. They remember meeting again in England and discuss various aspects of night flying and intruder operations, including the shooting-down of German aircraft.
