Pilot Officers Milson & Careless give an account of a raid on a Berlin gasworks, during which their aeroplane sustained serious damage. After ditching in the sea and losing their navigator they spent eleven and a half hours in a dinghy before being sighted by a Sunderland flying boat and rescued by an air sea rescue launch.
