Battle of Britain (overseas version)
Incomplete recording of a radio dramatisation of the Battle of Britain.
Incomplete radio dramatisation in which Reichmarschall Goering is heard speaking briefly and the narrator comments on his achievement in building up the Luftwaffe. Luftwaffe staff officers discuss their plans for the battle and the fighting qualities of Spitfires and Hurricanes. RAF Pilots and controllers are then heard on the radio before and during the interception of German aircraft; the recording ends with an assessment of combat losses during the battle.
