Recorded account by Flying Officer Bishop of his Sunderland’s attack on a U-Boat, during which the U-Boat was crippled and the Sunderland shot down.

Flying Officer Bishop describes his attack on a U-Boat on the surface, during which his Sunderland was damaged by anti-aircraft fire. He goes on to recall how the Sunderland crashed as the U-Boat crew abandoned ship and how both crews were subsequently rescued by a destroyer.
